The photo on the left is a beautiful black and white silk material with roses and a peacock sort of motif that I found lying in the garage. I thought it was just a very long beautiful scarf. The lighting was very poor and I couldn't see well. When I got it home, I found out that it wasn't a scarf but 7 yds of fabric. I will probably make several scarves, keeping one and selling the others on Etsy.
The photo on the right is of a beautiful dress from the 1940's probably. I know that you can't see all of the detail properly the way it is displayed, but trust me, it is gorgeous. I haven't decided if I will keep it or sell it. One thing is for sure though, whoever wears it should wear a nice full slip under it unless they want to be called a hussy...lol!The vintage baby outfit below, might be an antique. I'm not sure. If not, its very old. The scarf to the right below, is a hand made scarf. Very pretty. You would not believe what this lady was into. I'm not sure if I'm going to sell it or keep it.
The problem is that I buy things that I fall in love with and treasure:-) and tend to want to keep them, but, alas, my house is only so big.
I will need to save some of my other treasures from this outing for another time. I have run out of room and time.
Until we meet again, take care and happy treasure hunting...Peacock
