About Me

Well let's see.  About Me...you realize don't you that this is my own perspective of about me?  Well, let's get started, shall we...

I have been married for over 30 years, I have two adult children, son and daughter.  They have recently made me a first time Grandma, racing to the finish line...never a dull moment in my family:-)  I have two lovely granddaughters born less than 18 hours a part.
I still work full time as a financial analyst, but there is another side to me.
I love Elvis, country music, classical, jazz, the Rat pack, Doris Day...I love almost any kind of music.  My husband is a musician on the side, after his day job.  I love ballroom dance, and have even taken some lessons. I like to garden, like vintage clothing, dishes, etc.  In other words I like old things.  Good thing, cause my hubby and I are getting there...lol.  One reason I like vintage is because of the history of the era for each item or the history of each item itself.
I also love to travel and learn about the history and culture of each place I visit.
I like to save money, to invest, and to create (I have an artistic side) and to enjoy my life to the fullest and hopefully to help those around me to enjoy theirs as well.
I love, love, love, sailing (garage sailing), and going to thrift stores and finding buried treasure. To me, the world is full of treasure, whether its people, items or wisdom. There is oftentimes a piece of treasure right in front of you, but its also fun to look for it!
